Use your extensive subject matter expertise to improve the quality system. Work with manufacturing on rejected material. Identify the root cause and take approprioate action. Work with component vendors for rejected material.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a material review board (MRB) area.
· Inspect incoming material as required
· Work with Supplier Quality Engineer creating Quality Notifications
· Work with a cross functional team to return non-conforming material to a vendor
· Maintain inventory accuracy of material in MRB
· Document failure mode, quantity, p/n and manufacturer, etc. for rejections
· Work with a cross functional team to reduce MEB inventory and proper dispistioning of the material
· Weekly an monthly report out on MRB inventory and status of high value items
