Sr Finance Manager - Government Property Compliance

As a Sr Finance Manager on the Government Property Compliance team, you will have a strong understanding of US Government Acquisition Management process and Government Property Management requirements (Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.245-1 Government Property). You will manage a team of direct reports as well as a 3^rd party ensuring compliance to the DFARS business system requirements at 30 Aerospace sites. You will lead and manages the organization responsible for interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), FAR Supplements, contracts, Standards for the Guiding Principles of Property Management and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as applied to property acquisition, use and disposition. This role will Manage ownership and oversight of the Property Management System including developing and implementing property management policy and procedures and assuring that they are performed efficiently and effectively.

This role ensures operational excellence of major business systems and processes required to do business with the domestic and international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer property management program activities to ensure continual accountability of Government Property in accordance with applicable US Government regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Manage activities associated with property business systems for company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors in accordance with applicable regulations, corporate policy, property plans and local procedures that are compliant with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) property regulations.
• Ensure compliance to Government Property is maintained during GS&I transitions
• Maintain/sustain a management oversight program including recurring self-assessments and applicable scorecards by site to identify potential gaps and emerging issues requiring escalation
• Relationship building / leadership interaction with HON Team Leaders and their Senior Management in DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency).
• Attend NDIA Government Property Committee meetings, interacting with Peer companies, driving best practices, and influencing industry
• Interact with HONs Government Relations team, driving legislative change to positively impact HON
