Sr. Director Engineering, Warehouse Software Solutions

Position Overview

Honeywell Intelligrated is an industry technology leader with our Momentum Software, a scalable suite of software that manages the entire fulfillment process, including equipment, labor and business intelligence, integrated with voice- and light-directed picking and putting technologies.

As Senior Director Engineering, Warehouse Software Solutions and Innovation Leader, you will be responsible for creating a vision, the technology roadmap and leading delivery of platform/products related to Honeywell’s intelligent automated material handling solutions that drive distribution centers (DC) and fulfillment productivity for retailers, manufacturers and logistics providers around the world. 

We are looking for a Strategic Technology Leader with a keen eye for business and experience globally managing multiple teams that are supporting the current business applications and driving new solutions as Honeywell Intelligrated moves forward in expanding its business capabilities.

As Senior Director Engineering, Warehouse Software Solutions, your focus will be:

• Evangelize Intelligrated software products and vision with internal and external stakeholders including sales and presales
• Influence go-to-market planning, participate in VOC, develop product launch plans, and works with all stakeholders to execute
• Assure metrics are tracked on planned goals for release or product launch. Quality, sprint cycle, SIOP,
• Participate and approve in the development and planning of epics & stories for release with assurance of market differentiators/drivers are being met in the creation and planning stages.
• Provide constructive input on marketing plans to product marketing and corporate marketing
• Partner with global business leaders to drive a “Local Competitor” strategy

Ideal Candidates will have experience and responsibilities with the following below:

• Developing a multi-year technology roadmap to support business growth and performance targets, with collaborative discussions and feedback from senior leadership and key business stakeholders
• Translating vision and roadmaps into execution by architecting, designing, developing and deploying large scale implementations.
• Innovating and delivering new and existing software & data products, core platforms, and products based on our customers current and future needs. 
• Delivering large enterprise solutions in a matrixed environment of Business, Product Management, R&D and Engineering teams.
• Leveraging your technical expertise with multiple technology platforms (cloud and on premise) applied to WES, WMS & LMS.
• Lead alignment of capacity & demand planning across global development organization to achieve roadmap release objectives.
• Ensure return on investment (ROI) is realized by cross functional collaboration of driving revenue and margins.
• Assure annual operation objectives are met, including but not limited to bookings, revenue, gross margin, , etc.
• Build/maintain high-level customer relationship; develop programs for strong/trusted partnerships with key customers
• Address new business opportunities with appropriate strategy and organizational structures
• Enhance succession bench strength; coach and develop talent. Build a pipeline of new talent to be infused into the organization

Technical Expertise & leadership with the following are preferred:

• Understanding of Scrum and agile principles
• Exposure to continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
