We are seeking candidates for the role of Sr. Director Engineering (CTO) within Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT), a strategic business group of Honeywell International, a Fortune 100 company.
Honeywell Building Solutions is a couple billion-dollar business unit that focuses on energy, safety, security, comfort and productivity in buildings including but not limited to hospitals, airports, universities, K-12, stadiums, and commercial buildings. There is significant innovation underway with new product and solution being developed with IoT technologies including cloud, mobile and analytics. These products and solutions cover energy and comfort controls, surveillance and safety management, occupant experience, space utilization and business process improvements in a multitude of verticals.
We are looking for a CTO to serve as a global leader for developing, integrating and deploying technology across the two businesses. You will work with customers, business stakeholders and product developments teams to identify opportunities for growth. You will provide inputs for design and development of new solutions, work with delivery teams to ensure effective risk management. You will work with leading technology companies to develop an effective ecosystem for solutions. You will report to the HBT CTO and work closely with the business leaders – VP/GM Projects and Services – to drive strategies and results. This role will be based in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide end-to-end product and solution development for the HBT Smart City offering portfolio
· Drive strategic technology roadmaps for Service Line of Business and collaborate with Honeywell Connected Enterprise for realizing Forge platform solutions
· Drive strategic technology roadmaps for Projects Line of Business and collaborate with HBT businesses to drive platforming across BMS, Fire and Life Safety solutions
· Provide risk reviews for large projects and collaborate with Project Engineering team on effective solution delivery
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams globally to engage customers and identify growth opportunities
· Collaborate with Honeywell internal business partners to identify and define solutions that uncover new insights and create new opportunities
· Work with leading technology companies to develop effective collaborations that support growth objectives
