Summary:
- Position will support the Weapons Acquisition Cost Estimation Office
- The position will perform cost data analysis, data gathering, and collection used to support independent programmatic cost estimation practices
- Assist in the development of independent or program life cycle cost estimates and accompanying risk, uncertainty, and sensitivity analysis; including but not limited to WDCR and BLCR
- Assists with preparing and developing cost models with scenario-based functionality
- Assists with preparing cost estimates, understanding and assisting with risk analysis
- Develop training material and process documentation throughout the estimation cycles
- Apply highly effective communication skills (oral and written) and communicate complex issues and present results to scenario managers and others in a clear and concise manner
- Responsible for managing both current and historical models for postmortem analysis
- Responsible for assisting with development of audit requirements in conjunction with the 6.3 cost estimation process
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is identified
