Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Project Engineering team, within Honeywell Power
Systems, leading assigned test activities supporting the validation of the APU against
Customer and FAA TSO-C77 requirements. Test activities will include drafting
test procedures, overseeing the design and fabrication of test-specific
hardware, leading test article builds, conducting readiness reviews, leading
the execution of tests, and authoring test reports.
The successful
candidate must be able to apply their engineering training, project management behaviors,
and constant learning to serve as the single point of accountability for
engineering work scope and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Executes assigned testing in support of the program Test Team
- Supports test lead in estimating budget, schedule, and staffing forecast foGood.r assigned tasks.
- Responsible for authoring test procedures, APU/test article assembly, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), test execution, test data reviews, and formal test reports.
- During execution phase, ensures tasks being worked are running within the schedule, budget and staffing commitments
