The Avionics industry is entering into an exciting new age of Urban Air Mobility (UAM)/Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Autonomous Flight. Be part of a team that will lead the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight Next Generation Traffic and Surveillance avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms, from Air Transport and Business Jets to UAM/UAS. You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell’s leadership position. You will take a technical leadership role in creating system solutions for the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and Transponder Product Team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead specification reviews and development
- Standards application and improvements
- Develop and improve work practices
- Review process and product quality
- Lead engineering teams
- Lead customer discussions
- Mentor and coach junior level engineers
- Project management
