Utilize your logistics expertise and be part of handling a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment. You will assist in the daily store operations to ensure critical parts availability, material handling and so on. Responsible for providing support involving all aspects of material handling, including picking parts, shipping and receiving goods and storing inventory. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those duties are fulfilled and goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in team meetings/ tier meetings
- Unload and check incoming materials against Packing List, Purchase Orders, or Returned Goods Authorizations
- Maintain records of received goods and equipment
- Receiving and issuing of parts
- Move materials to and from inventory accurately following defined procedures
- Timely bar coding of empty bin parts
- Pick finished goods for shipping
- Post weight, shipping charges and prepare goods for shipment. Verify accuracy and quality of packaging
- Perform periodic physical inventories, cycle counts, and other measures to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain an orderly environment
Skills:
- Basic computer navigation and data entry skills required
- Ability to operate a powered industrial lift truck
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Willingness and ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment with a variable priority
