Summary of Duties:
- Provides technical leadership and functional guidance to assure compliance to technical and cyber security guidelines
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises IT resources and technical support personnel engaged in establishing, implementing, and maintaining computerized information systems and/or in designing and implementing procedures to prevent inadvertent or deliberate disclosure, alteration or destruction of unclassified, sensitive, or classified information
- Provides business perspective to department personnel, coordinates department activities with other information technology FM&T, corporate, and NSE organizations, and assures a high quality of customer service
- Develops operational policies and controls that are designed to measure and improve divisional metrics
- Develops operational plans, budgets, goals, and priorities for the department, fosters innovation and coordinates the allocation of required resources
- Affects changes in resources, plans, and procedures to facilitate achieving goals
- Identifies training requirements of personnel, develops appropriate training plans, and coordinates personnel development
- Encourages and facilitates internal and external teamwork of assigned personnel
- Develops processes, practices, and procedures to assure the maximum possible quality of the products and services
- Supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- May perform other duties as required
