The Data Center and Networking Organization designs, implements and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 900 locations across 65 plus countries. We work with the latest technologies to deliver a scalable, high-performing, highly available infrastructure to support our end-users and customers.
The Sr Enterprise Network Engineer position within the Network Connectivity & Architecture team is the key role responsible for the architecture and design and operations of Honeywell’s Application Delivery and load balancing platform. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter and a change agent with experience and a desire to drive our organization forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical solution design and delivery experience in large complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of L4-L7 network protocols, and understanding of SDN solutions
- Keeps current with trends and technological innovations and makes appropriate development recommendations
- Responsible for managing and designing our Citrix ADC load balancer solutions
- Responsible for the overall reliability of these infrastructure services supporting business-critical applications
- The position includes collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to design a scalable and supportable service-oriented architecture.
- This role will be expected to be a subject matter expert on load balancers and help drive efforts to improve automation and tooling.
- Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
- Measure or enable the measurement of adherence to standards compliance
- Responsible for producing and reviewing architecture artifacts and deliverables
