Honeywell currently has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in our Geneva, OH manufacturing facility.
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks associated with the troubleshooting and maintenance of production machinery. Each Maintenance Technician is responsible for working in a safe and efficient manner as prescribed by company policy in order to meet the needs of the facility they service and produce quality work. This is a skilled, hourly union position which requires some overtime as may be needed from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate existing and new equipment and machinery necessary to complete the maintenance and repair, both standard and preventive, on all equipment and machinery
o To include but not limited to: pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Work on motor and control electrical systems up to 480 Volts (AC)
• Read and follow instructions, drawings, schematics, sketches, blueprints, specifications and instruction manuals to provide preventive and repair maintenance
• Provide accurate reporting of shop floor data related to maintenance and quality, both manually and electronically. Communicate in-process items with team members and supervision on other shifts. Report safety issues as they arise to management
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to hold to Honeywell standards. Each technician is responsible for housekeeping within his or her assigned workstations, including the removal of waste and scrap daily.
• Perform routine daily maintenance that may require cleaning, greasing, lubricating, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership
