Summary of Duties:
- Electrical, Metrology Engineer will provide measurement guidance and support of Metrology, Test equipment, and other areas in manufacturing
- Hands on working directly with electrical equipment, calibration technicians, and supporting engineers.
- Desired experience includes but is not limited to: DC, Low Frequency (AC) and RF/Microwave Calibrations. Work with equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, High Voltage Pulse, Power Systems/Meters, Impedance Analyzers, LCR Meters, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, FMAS, Resistance Systems, Multimeters, etc.
- The Engineer will devise new testing methods and calibration procedures, perform measurement uncertainty analysis, review calibrations, write technical and calibration reports, and specify / procure measurement equipment
- Perform project management and design, development, evaluation, and quality control functions on highly complex engineering projects, regularly offering innovative solutions to significant technical problems
- Applies mathematical, physical science, and advanced engineering technologies in accomplishing engineering objectives
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments
- Recognized authority within area of expertise with wide versatility of experience and capability
