THE POSITION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Director of Project & Structured Finance, you will be responsible for supporting the business by taking a lead role in arranging financing solutions for Honeywell customers that seek to purchase goods and services from UOP. Additionally, you will advise senior sales, finance and business leadership on finance issues related to project bankability, international debt markets and the overall viability of financing plans. You will report directly to the UOP CFO but you will regularly engage with sales and finance leadership around the globe to help develop initial sales opportunities into revenue through the provision of third-party financing solutions. This is a job for a self-starter with significant experience structuring limited-recourse financings and other structured solutions for customers in challenging markets where traditional debt products are not often available. Extensive experience working with Export Credit Agencies, Development Banks and Multilateral Agencies (collectively, “Agencies”) is significantly important in this role and applicant should be able to demonstrate their familiarity with the programs and processes required to secure financing through these entities. Strong relationships with international commercial lenders active in the project finance or Agency finance space is also highly desirable. Day to day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

·        Partner with sales and business leadership to assist Honeywell UOP customers in raising project and corporate financing in support of UOP licensing, services and equipment offerings.

·        Counsel sales and business leaders on project strategic direction as it relates to customers pursuing project financing.

·        Advise on early stage structuring and bankability issues as part of UOP’s early engagement on projects.

·        Support compliance with Agency documentation and policy requirements.

·        Act as a liaison to Agencies, commercial banks, and other sources of financing for customers seeking funding for project development.

·        Ability to build and maintain project financial models; drive analytics related to bankability and structuring

·        Support project execution team in developing a procurement strategy that meets ECA requirements and customer financing goals.

·        Train and educate sales organization on fundamentals of financial markets.
