The successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous improvement of an effective and sustainable Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process within the AST business, integrating demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, into a common plan. The role will focus on Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) with particular emphasis on consensus demand planning and long-term demand planning. Supports the facilitation of the demand planning meetings, the supply planning process, the financial reconciliation and the Executive SIOP plan review. The role will implement Corporate standards, policies and procedures within the AST Business and ensure the sustainment of Kinaxis RapidResponse for SIOP and Demand Planning.
This position is the linkage between sales forecasting, marketing programs and manufacturing, bringing closer alignment within the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process.
• Set the vision and direction for SIOP and Demand Planning within AST
• Leverage data and analysis to improve the ability of the AST business to accurately predict and control business outcomes and the integration of the financial and operational plan
• Plan and ensure high quality execution of the cross-functional Demand, Supply, Reconciliation, and ESIOP meetings within the AST business
• Design and execute the strategy for maturing the AST SIOP process using the Corporate SIOP Maturity audit as a guide
• Direct and support the Demand Planning team to improve forecast accuracy and bias reduction
