Responsibilities
• Develop, manage, and enhance financial data models across key financial metrics to provide best-in-class, transparent and accurate forecasting
• Ability to process large amounts of data to identify key drivers and develop robust models for various types of analysis and communicate effectively to non-financial and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail oriented and inquisitive approach entailing a strong desire to understand how our businesses work to build viable data models
• Identifying and qualifying complex data sources and cleansing these data sets for use in required data models
• Incorporating automation to connect multiple data sources and account for anomalies where required to simplify how we are feeding data models
• Perform root cause analysis and interpret data and analyze using various techniques to identify anomalies and suggest solutions
• Exercise thought leadership providing strategic direction for the ongoing data models, data engineering and process efficiences
• Work to develop learning curriculum strategies, including eLearning and other training solutions for finance to help develop internal data analytics talent
