The Assistant General Counsel, Integrated
Supply Chain (“ISC”), Digital Transformation, and Compliance is a senior role
in the Legal Group of Performance Materials and Technologies (“PMT”).
You will be working closely with the General
Counsel, ISC, Digital Transformation and Compliance to manage all PMT ISC,
Legal Digital Transformation (including metrics reporting), and Compliance
matters. You will also be working closely with other senior leaders of the PMT
Legal Group to anticipate and mitigate potential legal and compliance problems
within the organization and develop strategies to avoid costly litigation and
reduce potential areas of risk.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide negotiation, drafting, compliance and dispute-resolution support for PMT ISC organization that includes Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning & Logistics, HSE, Quality, Sourcing and Procurement (total annual spend ~ $4 B)
- Provide advice on a wide range of supply chain and procurement related legal and business matters to PMT leaders and other functional stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement on contract processes, templates and playbooks
- Work on PMT Legal Digital Transformation and metrics reporting
- Support PMT Compliance efforts/initiatives and streamline processes, procedures, and interactions with the Corporate Compliance COE.
- Perform due diligence
- Mitigate and settle potential legal issues
- Coordinate with outside legal counsel on projects
- Be a change agent
