Key Responsibilities:
Complete review of suppliers’ certification packages and creation of logbooks for Space, Missile, and Marine customer hardware to support completion of customer deliverables. The following tasks aid in driving success:
- Obtain and analyze drawings/blueprints, specifications, other technical source data.
- Assess customer and supplier purchase orders to determine that supplier certification and FAIR packets meet program requirements, including all customer flow-down.
- Coordinates/interfaces with program personnel, such as, Project Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Contracts, and Configuration Management.
- Identifies, processes, records, maintains, retrieves, and compiles contractual data for submittal to the customer in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare logbooks per customer requirements.
- May support pre-ship reviews and drive closure of action items as required.
- Plans, organizes, and participates in logbook and certification audits.
- Maintains positive supplier and customer relationships through open communication and regular interaction.
- Prepares and implements data management plans and status reports for assigned programs.
- Responsible for process evaluation, control, and continuous improvement in all data management activities.
- Responsible for scheduling all work through the area and executing to the planned schedule.
- This position may be in Tempe, AZ or Puerto Rico.
