What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Strategic Sourcing Spec position at Honeywell?
As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing, and you'll work out of one of the listed locations on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices
- Report out to sourcing leadership on program status, including recovery schedules if necessary.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
