What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Advanced Software Engr position at Honeywell?
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our aerospace projects by ensuring the development of robust software applications that contribute to safer and more efficient air travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead software integration activities for multiple programs, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
• Implement and manage DevSecOps practices to enhance software development and deployment processes.
• Utilize configuration management systems such as ClearCase, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Git to maintain code integrity and version control.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Batch, as well as Makefile for automation and efficiency.
• Upgrade current AeroSPS infrastructure to a modern and sustainable DevOps framework.
• Support in the digitization of metrics and health monitoring through Splunk.
