What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer I position at Honeywell?
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Clearwater, FL location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the development of software applications that are critical to our operations, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and user-friendly. Your contributions will help drive the success of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, integrate, qualify, and document test software for Clearwater Space products, including Inertial Navigation Units (INU’s) and Single Board Computers (SBC’s).
- Complete tasks under supervision of a test software technical lead. Learn and utilize the Aerospace Engineering Process (AEP) to develop high quality test software products on time and within budgeted hours.
- Interact with internal customers and team members and participate in peer reviews and major design reviews.
- Participate in Year-over-Year (YoY) improvement projects with other department team members.
