As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your proficiency in CAD software and other design tools will enable you to effectively oversee the design process and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance mechanical solutions. You will report directly to our Mechanical Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires are required to report onsite M-F for the first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the development of conveyor Material Handling Equipment system designs that will drive the success of our Industrial Automation business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications, design and develop complex conveyor MHE systems, and perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
