We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Service Technician to manage and execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV (IP-based), intrusion detection, and intercom systems. This role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, and providing technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
In this role, you will impact the overall performance of our field service team, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through your leadership and technical expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead field operations for installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems at customer sites.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems, IP cameras, video management systems (VMS), intrusion alarms, and related components.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients during on-site service and project work.
- Perform site surveys and assist in the design and planning of security system layouts.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute system installations.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, including hands-on instruction and safety procedures.
- Document all work performed, including service reports, configuration details, and as-built drawings.
- Maintain tools, inventory, and vehicles in good working order.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
