An experienced and strategic Director of Investor Relations is needed to join the new spin-off company. Investor Relations is the primary interface between Solstice Advanced Materials and the investment community, responsible for communicating the company's strategy, financial results and supporting its valuation, while establishing credibility and relationships with hundreds of institutional shareowners, portfolio managers, buy and sell side research analysts on Wall Street, and thousands of financial institutions around the world.
Success in this high profile, highly visible and nimble department includes the ability to: effectively communicate company strategy; monitor and interpret market dynamics, macroeconomic indicators and peer data; analyze the company’s businesses, performance drivers and financial results; understand capital/equity markets and drivers of equity valuation; and, integrate multiple inputs to interpret and provide feedback to management on investor sentiment and factors impacting the company’s share price.
In addition to a strong attention to detail and solid financial background, the potential candidate must have strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with Honeywell senior leaders (including the CEO and CFO) and the external investment community. Responsibilities for the position primarily include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead day-to-day execution of world-class investor relations program, including preparation of quarterly earnings release materials, working closely with Business Analysis & Planning, Legal, Controllers, Communications, and the Strategic Business Groups (SBGs)
- Develop relationships with buy and sell side analysts, effectively manage Wall Street expectations and consensus estimates, and ensure consistent messaging among all Honeywell leaders
- Develop detailed financial models working with a cross-functional team in Finance, conduct analysis of SBG/SBU performance, and have ability to explain company performance and strategy
- Conduct other analysis as needed, including but not limited to the following: maintain sell side analyst financial models; Monitor and assess key drivers to daily stock trading activity; Monitor and analyze economic and market news impacting Honeywell's businesses; Analyze peer and competitor company fundamentals, financial and stock performance
- Develop internal and external company presentations and prepared remarks for dozens of investor events per year - streamline and incorporate feedback from BAP, Controllers, Legal, and CEO/CFO; prepare key message documents for HON Leadership for various conferences and investor meetings
- Manage all facets of annual investor day, including: preparation of presentations by Honeywell senior leaders, review and approval process with cross-functional team, maintenance of all vendor relationships, coordination of show-flow, content and messaging, and coordination of show preparation, dry-runs and walkthroughs leading up to event
- Present Wall Street view to internal Leadership trainings including Leadership Development Program (LDP), functional town halls, etc.
- Manage Investor Relations external website, including regular content updates
- Lead development of quarterly investor newsletter, relevant videos from annual investor day, and other one-off events, working closely with Corporate Communications
