Manage and lead the development of Honeywell Defense & Space competitive and non-competitive proposals in response to government, international and commercial solicitations/Requests for Proposals.
Build, lead and manage teams of multi-functional individuals to deliver comprehensive, persuasive winning proposals in a short cycle time. This involves defining, developing, and coaching proposal teams to respond to a highly technical request from external customers. This would include process and proposal training. Team leadership tasks include resource management, budget adherence, schedule, and proposal delivery compliance.
Implement a defined and consistent proposal process including proposal planning, leading the kick-off meeting; developing the proposal schedule; process leadership (compliance matrices, outlines, proposal reviews, etc.); assign team tasks, proposal status maintenance; issue resolution; managing production support; post submittal proposal update management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage proposal process from cradle to grave
- Manage cross functional teams to meet strict deadlines
- Coordinate closely with the sales organization to ensure winning bids
- Analyze RFP requirements to determine compliant response structure and volume outlines
- Generate detailed RFP response plan and schedule
- Facilitate document and color reviews
- Work in progress, turnaround time and on time to receiver metrics reporting
- Manage process improvement projects
