What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Maintenance Manager position at Honeywell?
As the Flight Test Maintenance Manager at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a people leader and mentor who holds a critical role in the aerospace industry responsible for the development, certification, and demonstration of industry leading aerospace technologies. You will direct maintenance and lead a professional, highly performing team of planners, technicians, inspectors and mechanics, while working with flight test engineers, test pilots, and supporting staff whose charter is to supply accurate, repeatable, and cost-effective data to the engineering groups we support.
In this role, you will be a part of Honeywell Aerospace’s Flight Test Operations team. Responsibilities would include direct implementation and oversight of maintenance for our fleet of 8 experimental and 2 standard category aircraft, experimental engineering modifications and regulatory compliance. You will also be a key member of Flight Test Operations leadership, engaging in all aspects of running the organization. You will provide leadership in processes improvement, developing your team and enhancing organizational capabilities.
You will report directly to our Senior Director, Flight Test Operations and work at our Phoenix, Arizona location.
