Technician-Electronic-Level 3 Shreveport, LA, United States (On-site) Be the First to Apply Job Description In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of electronic systems that are vital to our operations. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Experienced technician. Performs assignments of an advanced nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools. Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation Excellent electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of PLC's Properly use high voltage test equipment Re-fuse high voltage lines Remove and repair switchgear Properly size and install wire and conduit Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues Working knowledge of process control fundamentals Know PID tuning fundamentals Working knowledge of DCS systems Working knowledge of motors and motor controls Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photocells Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical systems maintenance or a similar role. Strong technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical components and systems. Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in I&E troubleshooting. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to electronic systems. WE VALUE Technical certification in Instrumentation / Electrical or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
