Responsibilities
- Experienced technician.
- Performs assignments of an advanced nature requiring use and application of standard
- maintenance methods and tools.
- Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
- Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation
- Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation
- Excellent electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of PLC's
- Properly use high voltage test equipment
- Re-fuse high voltage lines
- Remove and repair switchgear
- Properly size and install wire and conduit
- Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues
- Working knowledge of process control fundamentals
- Know PID tuning fundamentals
- Working knowledge of DCS systems
- Working knowledge of motors and motor controls
- Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photocells
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical systems maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical components and systems.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in I&E troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to electronic systems.
- Technical certification in Instrumentation / Electrical or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
