The annual base salary range for this position is $82,400 - $103,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead quality assurance activities including audits, inspections, and process validations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defects
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in quality engineering within manufacturing or related industries
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions
- Proficiency in quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and audit methodologies
- Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Experience with building automation or related technology industries
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and test systems
