As a CNC Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in precision machining operations, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet exact specifications. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Boyne City, MI location on an On-site work schedule.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and work instruction specifications
- Perform setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality output
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 Years of experience with doing set ups, operation & troubleshooting of CNC Mills and or Lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part quality
- Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
- College degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology
- Experience operating or programming a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing production priorities
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
