Job Description
The Director, Global Real Estate is a high-impact individual contributor role that plays a critical part in shaping and executing real estate strategy across a global portfolio of approximately 200 facilities, and 5 million square feet for the Building Automation (BA) business. This role serves as the single point of accountability for understanding BA business needs, shaping the global real estate portfolio, and driving alignment and execution across internal and external partners.
In addition to global strategic responsibilities, this role will oversee site operations for the Atlanta campus, including budget management, facilities, security, employee engagement, and community relations.
Responsibilities
Real Estate Strategy + Planning
Serve as the strategic real estate lead for the BA globally, driving portfolio strategy, optimization, long‑range planning, and execution aligned with growth plans and financial targets.
Own end-to-end business case development for footprint and capital projects, including due diligence, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
Communicate with all levels of business leaders to drive coordinated real estate decisions (renewals, consolidations, dispositions, new sites, capital planning)
Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, and external partners to align real estate decisions with broader enterprise priorities.
Atlanta Site Leadership
Oversee Atlanta site operations, including facilities management, security, site budget, business continuity, amenities, and community engagement programs.
Lead local engagement initiatives, collaborate with functional partners, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
At least 8 years of experience in corporate real estate, strategy, finance, consulting, or a related discipline.
Strong financial acumen, including hands-on experience with financial modeling, capital analysis, and business case development.
Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to senior audiences.
Global experience including strategy development or portfolio planning.
