ABOUT THE ROLE
Honeywell is hiring a Lead UX Designer at our Atlanta Headquarters. As part of the Honeywell User Experience team, you will employ your UX skillset for discovering user needs and translating that knowledge into platform-based SaaS solutions for a wide variety of industries. As a UX Lead, you will also oversee and guide work that crosses over multiple domains, in support of a common platform framework and design system. This is a central role where you will have significant influence over the experience strategy of Honeywell digital and AI products, as well as our evolving operations for a growing team.
AS A LEAD UX DESIGNER, YOU WILL
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to guide new products and enhancements from idea to implementation and beyond
Work closely with UX practitioners to lead and participate in research, strategy, and interaction design engagements
Facilitate collaborative workshops and alignment activities
Coach and mentor other practitioners to develop their craft
Participate in key leadership team efforts involving UX Design, Product Strategy, Engineering, and Operations across multi-continent UX practice
YOU MUST HAVE
10 or more years of general experience as a UX practitioner, including a year or more experience leading UX projects
Undergraduate or graduate degree

Excellent communication skills, and ability to articulate design value with peers and leaders in Product, Engineering, and Operations
Experience using human-centered design methodologies such as Contextual Design or Service Design
Skills for driving sense-making and alignment workshops and other approaches
Qualifications
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
