Job Description

As a Sr Adv Supplier Quality Engr here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement, managing supplier relationships, creating corrective action requests and driving them to closure and ensuring minimal negative supplier quality impact to manufacturing.

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Norcross, GA location on a Hybrid, work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the day-to-day activities of the team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements and working supplier quality issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives to achieve world-class levels of quality.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive supplier issues to closure
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Perform quality improvement projects

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry quality standards and requirements.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in leading supplier performance improvement initiatives.
  • Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • AS9100D Knowledge
  • Strong project management skills.
