Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Working 1:1 with a mentor, you will apply your current skills and learn to:
- Facilitate day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing production metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in problem-solving activities to address production issues and minimize downtime.
- Facilitate the implementation of quality control measures to ensure product quality.
- Learn technical skills such as soldering and troubleshooting equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a US Person.
- Be enrolled in or have completed at least 1 Career & Technical Education (CTE) course focused on a skilled trade.
- Be interested in full-time employment immediately upon high school graduation.
- Have earned a high school diploma from one of our partner school districts during the 2026-27 school year:
- Blue Valley Schools
- Olathe Public Schools
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated & responsible
- Good communication skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
