Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations.
- Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions.
- Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customs authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and effectively communicate trade compliance requirements.
- Experience with trade compliance software, such as SAP GTS or Amber Road, to streamline compliance processes.
