Job Description
As an Inspector - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace components and assemblies. You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and safety of aerospace products by maintaining rigorous inspection processes that uphold Honeywell’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The annual base salary range for this position is $55,300 - $82,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

- Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using precision measurement tools and visual examination techniques.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conformances or defects to the quality team for corrective action.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.

- Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques relevant to aerospace components.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Previous experience in aerospace quality inspection or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow established procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.
