Responsibilities
As a Hardware Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and performance of both legacy and new advanced Test Systems to support our fast-paced, high-volume commercial line of Aerospace products. You will collaborate with both onsite and off-site cross-functional engineering teams, troubleshoot issues and improve test methodologies, present findings about Test System's health status, and aid in production continuity by supporting internal customers.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes and systems, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technology that enhances safety and performance in aerospace.

- Test Systems Management: Ensure the functionality and proper operation of advanced Test Systems, including both hardware and network components, to meet production demands.
- Troubleshoot complex Test Systems and document findings clearly to facilitate future reference and enhancement.
- Analysis & Reporting: Present findings on the current health status of the test systems, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement and improve test methodologies
- Continuous Production Support: Keep production moving smoothly by supporting internal customers and addressing any interruptions or requirements they may have.
- Work on proposals to obtain new capital equipment by evaluating needs, creating compelling business cases, and justifying investments
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Experience in Test Systems engineering methodologies and tools, including requirements management.
- Experience with Hardware repair and troubleshooting
- Experience in systems engineering (or related field)

- Advanced Engineering degrees like MS in Electrical Engineering or related, is of value.
- Knowledge in Test Systems Integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Experience in leading complex system integration projects.
