Job Description

As an Engineering Support Specialist II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in providing engineering support for various projects and initiatives in the Electronic Test business unit. You will support a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.

You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location in a 100% onsite role. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations.

In this role, you will impact by ensuring the successful completion of projects, enhancing support efficiency, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes. By providing technical support and guidance, you will help Honeywell maintain its position as a global technology leader, delivering high-quality solutions that improve the quality of life for people around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with facilities, IT, trade for issues impacting larger team
  • Support our engineering teams by ordering and tracking status engineering prototype materials
  • Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice follow-ups for our engineering labs.
  • Support our engineering programs by organizing/kitting and engineering parts for engineering builds
  • Support, manage drawing redlines/revisions on development projects
  • Inspect engineering builds to ensure they have been built to prints
  • Provide daily support of engineering lab areas (ensuring lab safety, organization, etc.)

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)
  • Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and theory
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, diagrams

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology or related technical field
  • Prior experience with SAP and procurement tools
  • Prior experience in a technical or engineering environment
  • Prior experience soldering, fabricating electrical assemblies
  • Prior experience with CAD tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements, tools, and processes
  • Experience with quality management systems and processes
  • Experience with project and/or vendor coordination
  • Government and export compliance knowledge

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,400 - $96,700. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
