As an Assembler, you will participate in the production of a wide variety of products with varying complexity while carrying out specific tasks, depending on the product(s) being assembled. This may include tasks such as set-up, testing, inspection, problem identification and resolution, assembly, rework, documentation, and continuous improvement of CAES products. In the Assembler role, you will be critical to the successful technical support for our team in ensuring our products achieve their intended functions to meet and exceed our customer requirements

THIS ROLE WILL SUPPORT A 2ND SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE
Responsibilities
- Works with a wider variety of products or assembly processes
- Work with more complex documentation
- May perform some basic testing or measurements
- Performs mechanical assembly operations in the build of electronic assemblies using standard measuring tools & techniques
- Performs electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components
- Identifies and escalates equipment, material or documentation issues impacting quality or output
- Inspects work and does detailed processing of substrates using a microscope
- Strengthen knowledge of CAES 6S framework and actively participate in 6S initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of assembly and soldering experience
- Familiarity with ESD & FOD controlled environments
- Familiarity with ESD grounded equipment
- Proficient in the use of equipment as defined by your Supervisor and ribbon bonding
- Technologies and processes utilized in CAES products
- Identifies standard problems as they occur and takes appropriate action to solve basic issues
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- 2 years of current soldering experience (J-Standard) including technologies and processes utilized in CAES products
- Ability to interpret process sheets, prints, technical drawings
- Experience using small hand tools
- Experience with processes & technologies utilized in CAES products
- Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity
