You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. External hires will begin with 90 days on site before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.
In this role, you will impact the Aerospace (AERO) business unit by delivering high-quality hardware designs, testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components into complex aerospace systems. Your expertise will help drive product development cycles and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing analog and digital circuits for test platforms involves creating specialized hardware that serves as an interface between a unit under test (UUT) and automated test equipment (ATE) or simulation software.
- Perform hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and reliability
- Collaborate with software, systems, and production teams to create test solutions.
- Support product development lifecycle from concept through production and sustainment
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI, safety, and reliability standards
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience in advanced hardware design and development within aerospace or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of electronic hardware design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and signal integrity
- Experience with hardware validation, testing methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques
- Design and build automated test setups for validating products
- Integrate instruments (oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, signal generators)
- Support system-level integration
- Perform board bring-up and debugging
- Experience with designs, RF components, and FPGA based test interfaces.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Experience with embedded systems hardware and FPGA design
- Knowledge of system integration and cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, Power electronic basics, and signal integrity.
- Industry standard design tools like CAD.
- Familiarity with Test automation tools (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB)
- PCB debugging and failure analysis.
