Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Founding Engineer role located in Austin, TX or Denver, CO. The Founding Engineer will play a pivotal part in leading the development of HoneyRuns' technology platform. Responsibilities include designing and building scalable systems, collaborating with product teams, implementing AI-driven solutions, and solving complex technical challenges. This role demands initiative, technical expertise, and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the product engineering lifecycle, from ideation to production.
Qualifications
- Strong core programming skills in languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with backend development, APIs, and database management
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools and models, and deploying AI-based solutions
- Proficiency with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable architectures for tech platforms
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for addressing complex challenges
- Experience in building and scaling technology as part of an early-stage or startup team (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
