Honeycomb ABA Therapy, a fast growing applied behavior analysis provider in Blair County, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individual treatment plans, and providing support to clients and their families. The BCBA will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals by implementing effective behavioral strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations and strengths of the client.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent application of behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral therapy techniques.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Advocate for the needs of individuals within various settings (home, community, school, or center).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and assessment techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Expertise in applied behavioral therapy methodologies.

- Enjoys interacting with children, you must bring warmth, patience, and enthusiasm into each session.
Must have a Behavior Specialist License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
