What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Honeybee Hollow Children's Center?
We are looking for a nature loving, early childhood professional to join our toddler team. A toddler teacher must respect and build a rapport with young children and their families. They should have knowledge and skills that support children’s learning. They must be comfortable and confident implementing behavior management strategies to support positive learning experiences for toddlers. Toddler teachers understand children’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical development and use this knowledge to enhance curriculum and the classroom environment in which children will learn and succeed. They must be skilled in communicating with adults, so they can work effectively with families and the members of their teaching team. Toddler teachers should be calm and have an abundance of patience.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- 18 years old or older
- CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
- Experience in Early Childhood Education working with children ages 18months-3years is preferred
- Meets at least NH Child Care Licensing requirements for Associate Teacher in Center Based Care but willing to help the right candidate reach these requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
