Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that support infant development milestones, including social-emotional skills, motor skills, language acquisition, and cognitive growth.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, exploration, and curiosity among infants.
- Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when appropriate.
- Manage classroom routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and physical activities with compassion and professionalism.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational approach aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that adheres to childcare regulations and promotes child welfare at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting; classroom management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education needs for young children.
- Strong curriculum development skills with the ability to adapt lessons for toddlers’ diverse learning styles.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as literacy education or physical education is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
