Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains restaurant staff.
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
- Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Responsible for staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Responsible for the entire operation of the store, including but not limited to:
- Staffing
- Inventory
- Customer Service
- Labor
- Cost of Goods
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees and participates in food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Directly involved with all aspects of food preparation including making sandwiches, cutting meat, slicing vegetables and preparing catering orders.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the cafe and dining experience.
- Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Stays readily available/approachable for all team members.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture.
- Estimates food and beverage costs.
- Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
- Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
- Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
- Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the Regional Manager.
- Drive company vehicle to deliver food.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong hands on supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, P.O.S. systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years restaurant general management experience required.
- Successful completion of corporate training program required.
- Serve safe certified.
- Valid and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Prolonged periods walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times.
- Operate a torch as to glaze.
