We believe in balance. General Managers typically work 41-45 hours per week, weekends off unless it's a Holiday Period.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains restaurant staff.
• Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
• Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Responsible for staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Responsible for the entire operation of the store, including but not limited to:
• Staffing
• Inventory
• Customer Service
• Labor
• Cost of Goods
• Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees and participates in food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Directly involved with all aspects of food preparation including making sandwiches, cutting meat, slicing vegetables and preparing catering orders.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the cafe and dining experience.
• Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
• Stays readily available/approachable for all team members.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture.
• Estimates food and beverage costs.
• Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
• Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
• Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
• Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the Regional Manager.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver food.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong hands on supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, P.O.S. systems.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years restaurant general management experience required.
• Successful completion of corporate training program required.
• Serve safe certified.
• Valid and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
• Prolonged periods walking and standing.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times.
• Operate a torch as to glaze.
