About Honey & Stitch Club
Honey & Stitch Club is a Denver-based baby and toddler clothing rental company designed to make dressing growing kids easier, more sustainable, and less wasteful.
Families can rent clothing through our membership, return or swap pieces as their children grow, and shop select items directly. Because our inventory is constantly moving between customers and our warehouse, accurate inventory management and reliable fulfillment are a critical part of the customer experience.
We are a growing startup, which means this role is currently small in hours but important in responsibility.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organized, dependable person to help manage inventory and fulfillment at our Denver warehouse for approximately 5–8 hours per week.
Initially, the schedule will generally be the same day each week, although the exact hours can be flexible. As the company grows, we would also like this person to have some flexibility to occasionally assist with one-off warehouse needs or errands when something urgent comes up.
This is a hands-on role involving clothing, inventory, packing orders, barcoding products, and updating inventory in Shopify.
You do not need to be an expert in Shopify when you start, but you should be comfortable learning technology and following detailed processes.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Packing and preparing customer orders for fulfillment
- Receiving and stocking new clothing inventory
- Adding and applying SKUs and barcodes to inventory
- Logging and updating inventory accurately in Shopify
- Restocking returned items once they are ready to go back into circulation
- Conducting regular physical inventory checks
- Making sure physical inventory matches what is recorded in our systems
- Identifying missing, damaged, incorrectly labeled, or unaccounted-for items
- Keeping the warehouse organized and inventory easy to locate
- Monitoring shipping and fulfillment supplies such as polymailers, labels, insert cards, packaging materials, and other supplies
- Alerting us before supplies run low so replacements can be ordered
- Helping troubleshoot occasional fulfillment or inventory issues with Saltbox
- Completing occasional local errands related to inventory or warehouse operations as needed
What We Are Looking For
This role would be a good fit for someone who is:
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Dependable and consistent
- Comfortable working independently
- Comfortable using computers and learning systems such as Shopify
- Organized and able to follow established processes
- Proactive about identifying problems instead of waiting until something becomes urgent
- Comfortable handling clothing, packaging, inventory, and physical warehouse tasks
- Able to communicate clearly when something is missing or does not match our records
- Able to manage a small workload with a very high level of accuracy
Reliable transportation is required, as you will need to work from our Saltbox warehouse at 4800 Dahlia Street in Denver and may occasionally need to handle local errands.
Accuracy Matters
We want to be transparent about the type of person who will succeed in this role.
We are a very flexible company when it comes to scheduling and how the work gets done, but we are particular about accuracy and follow-through.
Customer experience is one of our highest priorities, especially at this stage of the business. A missed item, incorrect SKU, inaccurate inventory count, or forgotten shipping supply can directly affect a customer's order.
We are looking for someone who naturally double-checks their work and takes ownership of making sure things are done correctly.
Schedule
The role will begin at approximately 5–8 hours per week, generally on one consistent day each week.
Hours can be relatively flexible.
Over time, there may also be occasional opportunities for additional hours when we receive new inventory, have larger fulfillment needs, or need help with a one-off warehouse issue.
Opportunity to Grow
We are a growing startup, and while this position currently requires only a handful of hours each week, we are open to expanding the role for the right person.
Additional skills that would be especially helpful include:
- Product or lifestyle photography
- Social media
- Content creation
- E-commerce
- Shopify
- Merchandising
- Inventory management
- Startup or small-business operations
If you have skills beyond warehouse and inventory work, we would love to hear about them.
To Apply
Please send a short introduction explaining:
- Your availability
- Any previous inventory, fulfillment, retail, e-commerce, or warehouse experience
- Your comfort level working with technology and systems like Shopify
- Whether you have reliable transportation
- Any additional skills you may have in areas such as photography, social media, content creation, or e-commerce
- We are looking for someone reliable who would like to grow with the business and become a trusted part of our operations.
