Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active learning among children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to support diverse learning styles.
- Support children’s emotional well-being and promote child welfare through attentive care and responsive communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress, prepare reports, and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, health guidelines, and licensing requirements related to childcare and preschool settings.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with toddlers or preschool-aged students.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for young learners.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with literacy education, tutoring practices, physical education teaching, and Montessori educational approaches.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
