Duties:
-- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical documentation
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Manage the process of check-in and check-out for the patients efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient appointments
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient service.

Core Competencies: Bilingiual ( English/ Spanish) is a must.
Minimum of 1 year dental front office experience.
CPR Certification
Prior knowledge of Dentrix Ascend software is a plus, but not required as we will provide training
- Previous experience in front desk or hospitality management
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is highly desirable
- Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Essential functions:
-Excellent phone answering/communication skills (You are the 1st impression of our team!)
-Impeccable organization for record keeping
-A willingness to be flexible and accommodating for patients
-Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness and service
-Mastery in insurance, billing, payments, and scheduling preferred.
