Instead of an hourly wage where you earn the same regardless of how hard you work, we pay a premium flat rate of $300 to $450 per installation (depending on job complexity). The faster and cleaner you work, the more you make.
In this role, you will cover our NorCal regional service territory, with job locations varying daily between San Joaquin County and Sacramento County. We provide the tools and a steady pipeline of pre-scheduled jobs—you bring the plumbing know-how, a reliable work vehicle, and the drive to maximize your daily earnings.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Installation: Neatly install residential water softeners, iron filters, UV disinfection systems, and under-sink reverse osmosis units.
- Pipe Fitting: Run clean copper, PEX, and PVC lines. Mount systems securely and tie professionally into existing drains.
- Test & Program: Test incoming water levels, program digital control valves (Fleck, Clack, etc.), and verify zero leaks before leaving the site.
- Customer Care: Walk the homeowner through how their new system works, how to add salt, and what maintenance schedule to expect.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized setup and track equipment/parts inventory accurately.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in residential plumbing, water treatment installation, or a highly relevant mechanical trade (must be confident cutting and joining PEX, copper soldering, and PVC).
- Licensing: A California State Plumbing License (Journeyman or C-36) is highly desired/plus, but not a strict requirement for this role.
- Service Territory Travel: Ability to travel to varying job locations throughout Sacramento County and San Joaquin County.
- Reliable Work Vehicle: Must have a reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of safely transporting filtration equipment and tools to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs (loading salt/media tanks) and work comfortably in utility rooms, garages, or tight mechanical spaces.
