What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Water Softener Installer, Experienced, We Keep You Busy position at Honest Water Co Nashville?
Honest Water Co is a fast-growing water treatment dealership serving Middle Tennessee. We install whole-home water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners: no big-box store overhead, no corporate nonsense, just quality equipment and honest pricing.
We're building our installer team in Nashville and looking for one experienced, reliable installer we can build serious volume around. If you're good, we will keep you busy. This is not a "call when we have something" gig. We run a steady pipeline of leads and installs, and we need someone who can grow with us.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing whole-home water softener/filtration systems (single-tank and dual-tank configurations) at customer homes
- Installing reverse osmosis drinking water systems under kitchen sinks
- Occasional well-water systems (AIO, peroxide injection); training provided if you haven't done these specifically
- Light plumbing work: drilling countertops for RO faucets, running lines, occasional trenching for drain/discharge lines
- Removing and hauling away old equipment
- Collecting payment at job completion via digital invoice (we handle all the office-side scheduling and admin, you just show up and install)
- Representing the company professionally; you're often the only face of Honest Water Co the customer ever meets
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on experience installing water softeners and reverse osmosis systems: you know your way around this equipment specifically, not just general plumbing (plumbing background a plus but not required)
- Licensed (plumbing/installation license per TN requirements), or willing to get licensed: if you're not currently licensed but have the experience, we'll cover the cost of getting you licensed once hired
- Comfortable drilling granite and marble countertops for RO faucet installs. This comes up regularly, so you need to be confident doing it, not learning on the job
- Own basic hand tools; comfortable with a drill, sweat/press fittings, PEX or copper, basic electrical for valve wiring
- Reliable, punctual, good communicator with customers
- Can complete 2-3 standard installs per day once ramped up
- Valid driver's license, clean-ish driving record
Pay: Open to structuring this the way that works best for you. We can do a guaranteed salary with benefits and a company truck (W2), or a per-install rate with no ceiling on your earnings if you're fast (1099); we'll talk through both at the interview and land on whichever fits you. OTE: $75,000-$150,000/year, depending on the structure and your volume. Either way, the point is the same: steady volume, fair pay, truck options either way.
To apply: Send us your experience (how many systems you've installed, what brands/valves you've worked with), availability, and whether you'd lean toward steady salary or performance-based pay. Local to Nashville/Middle Tennessee only.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
Salary : $75,000 - $150,000
