Department of Public Works
The Borough of Honesdale is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join its Public Works Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Road and stormwater system maintenance
- Snow removal and plowing
- Parks and municipal property maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment
- General labor and other Public Works duties
Qualifications:
Applicants must be reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing manual labor, and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience in construction, road maintenance, landscaping, or equipment operation is preferred but not required.
A valid Pennsylvania CDL is a plus, but not required. Willingness to obtain additional training and licensing is encouraged.
The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
